I have to admit I am starting to have a pretty big collection of shoes, dress and... mug at home. I am a tea lover and I am used to chose my mug regarding my mood or the time of the day. Yeah, it might sounds weird, I know...
Recently, I wanted to make a kind of girly-funky mug. The one that will make you laugh (or smile at least) each time I will sip my tea in, and this idea of a princess ring popped up into my head.
And what I love most is how excited I am just before sliding my finger in the ring-handle. This stupid act cracked me up each time and it became my morning ritual to start well the day !
You need:
1 mug, chose one with a narrow handle to remind a ring (pick up one in procelain, faïence or ceramic)
golden porcelain painting
porcelain glue
1 strass (its diameter has to match with the mug handle width)

pencil
white spirit
* Wahs-up and dry well your mug. With a clean towel soaked with white spirit rub the handle in and out.
* Paint the handle, allow to dry for 30 minutes and paint an other layer. Make more layers if needed.
* Allow to dry for 24 hours.
* Preheat your oven on 180°C and put your mug into the oven for 35 minutes (follow your porcelain painting packaging oven temperature and during time directions for this step).
* Set your mug aside and let cool completely.
