During our days off to the Cap Ferret I absolutely wanted to find out the right food place. I mean the one you can eat fresh products at, apart from all these touristic and bad-quality restaurants which serve you a grilled frozen fish for 37€.
La Canfouine is not right at the Cap Ferret but just few kilometers above at Le Canon, which is actually my favorite area. I'm not sure we would have been able to find it out without the advice of one of our friend that live close to it, which makes actually one very good first point: I love this kind of hidden places that insure you a relaxing moment far away from all the exhausting touristic flood the Cap Ferret has during high season.
We stayed there for 3 hours, facing the sea and enjoying the sun andsome fresh oysters with a glass of white wine. It was hard to leave but the idea of grabbing a waffle just after helped a lot though !
